FAQ — preguntas esperadas

¿Me hace anónimo?

FAQ — anticipated questions

Is it legal?
Yes. It's privacy and self-hosting software — the same category as Tor, Signal or any home server. Responsibility for use lies with the user.
What if the state blocks Tor?
It happens in China, Iran or Russia: bridges and obfuscated transports exist but don't always work — we say so in the presentation itself.
What happens if I switch the PC off?
The service sleeps with you. No datacenter, no cloud copy: it's your own infrastructure.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Each service is created with one command and the doctor assistant checks the installation. Documentation ships inside (enola-cli docs).
Is it really free?
The software runs on your hardware: no subscription, no rented server. The costs are those of keeping your PC on.
Does it make me anonymous?
We don't promise that: we promise privacy and censorship resistance by design. Full anonymity also depends on your habits.

All sources were consulted and archived in October 2026; besides the links in this document, the project keeps a local copy of every page/PDF in evidencias/ with a SHA-256 fingerprint (MANIFEST.sha256) — the local copy proves the content and the Wayback snapshots fix the date before a third party. Live pages (market shares, Tor metrics) are quoted with the archived figure and its date. Company claims rest on their own documents or primary sources.
